50 years of 1971 war victory: Army display military weapons to students

The Punjab Regimental Center (PRC), which is one of the oldest regiments of the Indian Army on Tuesday showcased sophisticated weapons at DAV Public School in Barkakana in Ramgarh district to spread awareness among students as to how the Indian Army fights with opponents.

PRS said that the display of weapons was done on the occasion of completion of the glorious 50 years of 1971 Liberation war victory. The objective of the display of military weapons to students was to motivate them and show future talents how the Indian Army protects the nation in adverse situations.

Urmila Singh, principal of DAV Public School, told PTI that over 1000 students including girls as well as National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets saw weapons of the Indian Army which will motivate students to join the Indian Army.
