General MM Naravane, chief of army staff, visited the headquarters of the Israel Defence Forces on Wednesday to learn about the multi-domain concept and force build-up.
“General MM Naravane #COAS visited the Israel Defence Forces #IDF Headquarters & was given a nuanced brief on Multi-Domain Concept & Force Build Up. #COAS also witnessed a technical demonstration by #IDF & exchanged token of appreciation,” the official Twitter handle of the Indian Army tweeted.
The army chief also paid a visit to the Indian Cemetery in the northern Israeli coastal city Haifa where he paid homage to Indian soldiers who martyred during World War I to liberate the city from Ottoman rule.
General MM Naravane is presently on a five-day maiden official visit to this Jewish state, where he arrived on Sunday. The visit is focused to bolster India’s defence and security cooperation with Israel.
