The Indian Air Force’s biggest war game Exercise Vayushakti 2022 will be conducted on March 5 at Pokhran. Over 140 planes including 100 fighter ones are expected to participate in the exercise. This grand exercise will be attended by the defence minister, chiefs of all three services, and other dignitaries.
A meeting, for this upcoming exercise, was conducted by the Jaisalmer station commander Group Captain Amardeep Singh Pannu and district collector at Air Force Station Jaisalmer.
The district collector Pratibha Singh assured for cooperation for Vayushakti 2022. Officers from the IAF and administration were present at the meeting.
As per army sources, IAF has started the preparations in the Chandhan range for the firepower demonstration. Many missiles will also be used, with MICA missile integrated to Rafales will be the centre of attraction.
Moreover, Su-30, MiG-29, LCA Tejas, Mirage-2000, Mig-21 Bison, hawk, and jauguar will also be part of this massive drill. Apache, Chinook, and Dhruv helicopters will participate in night operations.
