The first Indian to fly into space Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma, is also an alumnus of the National Defence Academy (NDA). Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, India’s first individual Olympics medal winner, is a proud alumnus of the NDA’s 77th course. He had won Silver in shooting in 2004 Athens Olympic.
