General Naravane interacts with officers of Bangladesh Army during his stay

Indian Army chief General MM Naravane on Saturday interacted with the officers of Bangladesh’s Army and witnessed an operational demonstration by the troops. 

General Naravane is on a 5-day official visit to Bangladesh. He visited the 10 Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army. He also planted a tree in Ramu Cantonment in Cox’s Bazar to celebrate the eternal friendship between the two armies. Ramu cantonment is the headquarter of the 10th Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army. 

“General MM Naravane #COAS visited 10 Infantry Division & interacted with the Officers of #BangladeshArmy. The #COAS also witnessed an operational demonstration by the troops of the formation,” the Indian Army’s Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADG PI) tweeted. 

The year 2021 marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Bangladesh, the liberation of Bangladesh from Pakistan, and the birth centenary of ‘Bangabandhu’ Mujibur Rahman.
