PROCEDURE FOR ENROLLMENT:-

If NCC is available in your respective institute then you can directly consult the teacher responsible for handling NCC in your institute. You will be provided with an enrolment form consisting of your personal details and educational qualifications. It would also demand a medical certificate certifying that you are medically fir to be a part of NCC. At the end, it would require your parents’ agreement in the form of signature.
If NCC isn’t available in your institute then you would need to find an “OPEN NCC UNIT” where you could enrol yourself. The only difference here would be that you would have to meet the commanding officer of the NCC unit you are getting yourself enrolled in.The enrolment form will have the same details.

Everyone can get themselves enrolled in NCC. It’s rare that your enrolment form would be rejected. It can be rejected only when you don’t meet the eligibility criteria or due to some disciplinary action.

Every institute might not select each enrollment form. Each institute has a certain number of seats to enrol certain eligible applicants in their NCC unit .You might have to meet some criteria based on physical and mental strength set up by the institute. But enrolling isn’t hard if you are really keen to be a part of NCC. Each and everyone has the strength to be a NCC cadet if they really wish to be one.
