Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria arrived in Colombo on a two-day visit and attended the inaugural ceremony of an air show celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF).
A statement generated by the Defence Ministry mentioned that the Air Force Chief will interact with various distinguished people and the heads of the armed forces of Sri Lanka. Also, the air show will witness the participation of an IAF contingent consisting of the Suryakiran and Sarang aerobatic display teams and the Tejas LCA.
Air Chief Marshal met Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and also interacted with Sri Lankan President Nandasena Gotabaya Rajapaksa, who was present during the inaugural ceremony of the air show. The visit will further strengthen the existing IAF-SLAF ties and open up newer avenues of mutual interest.
