
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday gave a statement that India is inching close to touching the mark of Rs 3500 crore exports in defence sector, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Rajnath Singh attended the program “Delivering Democracy; Two Decades of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Head of Government”, which was conducted by the Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini at India International Center.
“We were the biggest importer in the world in terms of Defence equipment. We are now among the top 25 exporters of the world. We will soon achieve the target of Rs 3500 crore export. It all happened because of PM Narendra Modi’s directions,” the minister said during the program.
Rajnath Singh in his address also said that there is a major paradigm shift in internal security or border security because of Prime Minister’s decision-making power. The minister further assured that no one will die due to oxygen shortage as the country has developed adequate Oxygen plant capabilities.
