
The National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) in collaboration with Data Security Council of India (DSCI), as a Knowledge Partner, arranged two-day Practical Seminar from December 7 to 8 with a theme of “Securing Cyberspace in the Contemporary Threat Environment” for delegates from Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States.
On October 28, 2021, India assumed the Chairmanship of Council of Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of SCO (RATS SCO) for a period of one year.
This Seminar is the first event to be ever hosted by India during its Chairmanship. This is the second time, India is organizing such an event. The previous one was hosted in Hyderabad in August 2019.
The event covered significant topics including Policies and Strategies, Ransomware, Digital Forensics, and Cyberterrorism. Participants included members of the RATS SCO Executive Committee (EC) and all SCO member countries.
