Indian Army establishes Quantum Lab at Mhow in MP

In association with the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS), the Indian Army has established a Quantum Lab to train and conduct research at the Military College of Telecommunication and Engineering (MCTE) in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. 

Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravane was also briefed on the developments during his recent visit to Mhow. Additionally, the Indian Army has established an artificial intelligence (AI) centre at MCTE with over 140 deployments in the necessary areas. 

A leading government college, Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE) is based in Mhow and offers a wide range of academic courses and programmes. 

Research by the Indian Army in the field of Quantum Technology will take us forward into next-generation communication and transform the current system of cryptography in the Indian Armed Forces to Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
