Indian Navy seals the deal with Suryadipta Projects for 11 ACTCM barges

The Indian Navy has signed a contract with Suryadipta Projects to construct 11 ammunition-cum-torpedo-cum-missile (ACTCM) barges, an official statement said on Tuesday. 

“Delivery of barges is scheduled to commence from May 22. The ACTM barges will be inducted in the Indian Navy to undertake the mission needs for embarking or disembarking ammunition, torpedo, missile, etc.” the statement further mention. 

Suryadipta Projects Private Limited is a Thane-based MSME and the contract was signed on 5th March 2021. This project is a perfect example of moving ahead with the Atmanirbhar Bharat and the Make in India initiative of the government of India.
