After receiving information on the making of new modules by the Indian Mujahideen terrorist organisation, intelligence agencies have been on high alert.
Indian Today has received exclusive information from intelligence agencies that top terrorists of the Indian Mujahideen have set up a new sleeper cell in India. They had been hiding in different countries including Pakistan.
Pakistani ISI is believed to be responsible for the rise of sleeper cells. The Indian Mujahideen carried out dozens of terrorist attacks in Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Bihar from 2006 to 2014, in which hundreds of people lost lives.
To eradicate the IM sleeper cells, several central agencies and special units of police departments in various states, including Delhi, have conducted operations.
