Son of India for Jammu and Kashmir, Poonch district, Lance Naik Mohd Naseer who served all over the country and was just 35 years old. Serving in 15 Jak LI unit in the Rajori sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

Having served for many years, he had good experience overall. On 15th July 2017, when Lance Naik Naseer was serving in the forward post on Poonch sector along LoC, intentional firing was started by Pakistani Army at 1300hrs. The firing and shelling cover a large portion of sector including Balakote, Panjgrian Naika and Manjakote area along LoC. Indian Army also retaliated by provoking firing and it continued till several hours. Unfortunately, during this process, one of the mortar shells burst near L/Nk Naseer and he got critically injured. He was immediately taken to the nearest hospital but later succumbed to his injuries leaving behind his wife and three children.
Lance Naik Mohd Naseer was a brave soldier who laid down his life to protect the country. Our nation will always honor the sacrifice made by him in service of the nation.
