MoU signed between Indian Naval Placement Agency and Flipkart

The Indian Naval Place Agency (INPA) and Flipkart signed an MoU on Wednesday, through which they will explore opportunities for the recruitment of naval veterans at the Flipkart Group.

Vice Admiral Suraj Berry, Controller of Personnel Services, Indian Navy, and Mr. Rajneesh Kumar, Senior Vice President, Flipkart signed the MoU. Senior Officers from the Indian Navy and Flipkart also attended the event.

This MoU will allow INPA to identify a pool of ex-servicemen candidates for relevant roles as per the recruitment criteria of Flipkart. The company, in turn, enable these individuals to transition to the corporate sector through in-house assimilation and training programs.

Flipkart is undertaking this program under its ‘Diversity and Inclusion Charter’ under the aegis of ‘FlipMarch’, whose aim is to offer opportunities to ex-servicemen as per their qualifications, experience, and attributes gained during their service period.
