Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed his gratitude towards French President Emmanuel Macron for his Republic Day greetings. PM Modi also said that he is positive and looks forward to bolster strategic partnership of India with France and will jointly work for an open and peaceful Indo-Pacific region.
French President Macron had wished the Prime Minister and people of India on the occasion of 73rd Republic Day on Wednesday with a message in Hindi on his Facebook page.
Macron said that the Indo-Pacific aspirations of India and France would continue. “Thank you my dear friend @EmmanuelMacron for your warm greetings. I look forward to further deepening our unique and multidimensional strategic partnership and would like to work with you for an open and peaceful Indo-Pacific. Long live the Indo-French friendship,” Prime Minister Modi said.
