In a new bout of sabre rattling as tensions with the West reached new heights over Moscow’s threat to overrun Ukraine, Russia announced it would hold huge naval drills across four seas.
The Russian defence ministry announced plans to deploy more than 140 warships and support vessels to the Atlantic, Pacific, Arctic, and Mediterranean this month and in February following an angry response from the Kremlin to US President Joe Biden’s comments, which it called “destabilizing.”
