As you can see there are two lines- START LINE and FINISH LINE. Between these two lines are some structures which the group needs to negotiate in order to reach the FINISH LINE using the helping materials provided.
The helping materials include-
- Wooden Plank (PHATTA)
- Circular wooden log- LONG BALLI and SHORT BALLI
- Rope
- Extra tools as per particular obstacle design like rings, triangular bars etc.
ACTION PLAN : HOW TO APPROACH THE FGT?
STEP : 1
The gap between the START LINE and CB-1 is 5 feet which is more than 4 feet, hence it has to be bridged. Place one end of the BALLI on the START LINE and the other end on CB-1.
Now two candidates will climb on to CB-1.
STEP: 2
The two candidates standing on CB-1 will place the PHATTA between CB-1 and CB-2 as shown in the figure above.
Now half of the group will move on to CB-2 and rest will move on to CB-1. The candidates standing on CB-1 will pass on the BALLI to the candidates standing on CB-2.
STEP: 3
The candidates standing on CB-2 will place the BALLI between CB-2 and the FINISH LINE as shown in the figure above, using the rope. Then they will cross the FINISH LINE.
The candidates standing on CB-1 will move on to CB-2, pass on the PHATTA to the candidates standing beyond the FINISH LINE and then they will cross the FINISH LINE except one candidate (to untie the rope and pass it to the candidates standing beyond the FINISH LINE).
STEP: 4
Now the candidates standing on CB-2 will untie the rope and pass on the rope and the BALLI to the candidates standing beyond the FINISH LINE.
The candidates beyond the FINISH LINE will make a cantilever so that the candidate on CB-2 crosses the FINISH LINE. They will place the SHORT BALLI on the ground near the FINISH LINE and the PHATTA over it as shown in figure above. Few candidates will stand on one end of the PHATTA as indicated by an arrow in the figure. Now the candidate on CB-2 will step on the other end of the PHATTA and cross the FINISH LINE.
CONGRATULATIONS! You have successfully completed the FGT.
