In an operation conducted by the security forces, a terrorist hideout was busted in the Kishtwar district of J&K and a large cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered.
The hideout was busted after hours of intense search operation launched by a joint team of the Indian army and the J&K police, according to Time Now report. With this seizure, this is the fourth hideout busted by the security personnel in the last two days in J&K.
Earlier that day, three terrorists, including one affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), were killed in an encounter between Srinagar’s security forces and the militants in the Pantha Chowk area.
“One of the killed terrorists has been identified as Suhail Ahmad Rather of terror outfit. As revealed during yesterday’s Press Conference, terrorist Suhail was also involved in Zewan Terror Attack. All terrorists involved in the Zewan attack have been neutralized,” Kashmir Zone Police on Twitter retweeted Inpector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir, Vijay Kumar’s tweet.
