The Indian Air Force is the fourth strongest Air Force in the world after the United States, Russia, and China. It has approximately 170,000 personnel and 1,500 aircrafts. It has 60 bases spread all over India. It operates the highest Air Force Station in Siachen at an elevation of 22,000 feet.
