Para (Special Force) commandos are known as ‘Red Devils‘. This termed was awarded to them by the soldiers of the German African Corps in Africa. The name “ red ” is derived from the “ MAROON BERET ” wear by the paratroopers and is now a trade mark for all the paratroopers around the world.
